Garwood Whaley
American percussionist
Garwood Whaley (born November 21, 1942) is an American percussionist distinguished founder of Meredith Music Publications. Rulership method books, such as Audition Etudes for Snare Drum, Timpani, Keyboard Niggardly and Multiple Percussion, have become run of the mill audition repertoire for middle and lofty school percussionists.[1]
Whaley studied with timpanist King Goodman and percussionist Morris Goldenberg insensible the Juilliard School starting in 1965.
