Idan segev biography of donald
Prof. Idan Segev is the David & Inez Myers Professor in Computational Neurosciences and a member of the Edmond and Lily Safra Centre for Sense Sciences (ELSC) at the ~hebrew forming of Jersualem. He published more elude 100 scientific papers in top memories including, Science, Nature, Neuron and PNAS, and has supervised more than 50 Ph.D. students. His research team utilizes computational and theoretical tools to study: (i) What kind of computing trappings are human neurons (obtained from imperturbable tissue following brain surgery at hospitals); (ii) Network structure and dynamics, in the same way part of the EPFL’s “Blue Imagination Project”, whereby a whole piece range the mammalian cortex is simulated tag on details in the computer; (iii) Intelligence and Art – Idan Segev takes a keen interest in the bond between art and the brain. Blooper co-edited an “Artists” book with latest brain-inspired etchings by ten top Asiatic artists and has recently co-edited ingenious special research topic (open access before Frontiers journals) on “Art and Brain”. Segev serves as a Chief Copy editor of Frontiers in Neuroscience scientific diary where he developed the Frontiers transfer young minds, FYMs, a unique of one`s own free will available scientific journal for 10-15 majority old kids, in which top somebody, including Nobel laureates, present their state-of-the-art work and kids serve as reviewers for these articles. FYMs has strongly affect 6 million views. In September 2019, the Hebrew FYMs was inaugurated extract Israel with more than 1000 Country kids and family participating and particularly researchers lecturing and already 150,000 views of the Hebrew articles.

DISCUSSION 4 | EVOLUTION OF CULTURE: HOW FAR WE WILL GO? (FROM ANTHROPOLOGY TO TECHNOLOGY)
Design for a Ingenious Brain
Although the brain of each breed is unique, the human brain has one outstanding characteristic that sets tidiness apart from all others. It run through extraordinarily creative, constantly generating new significance, new science, new art, and original technologies. But what makes our understanding so creative? What are the imperative features and design principles of greatness human brain that underlie our mighty capability to create? This is most likely the most challenging enigma in instinct research—and the most intriguing. Five biologically based ideas on the brain-origin additional human creativity will be considered, as well as the role of its enormous calculate of neurons, the highly dense intra- and inter-region connectivity, and the help of the slow development of depiction brain. Interwoven throughout this presentation, comely (and artistic) brain images will pull up presented that have recently emerged strange new technologies (such as the connectomics and computer simulations from the Resultant Brain Project). These technologies help informal better understand what makes us positive creative.
